Wasn't the whole point of the game that it was Hideo Kojima at his most unfettered and with ultimate freedom? That shouldn't really need a 'Director's Cut'.
(Yeah, I know it's just marketing guff for a PS5 version)

I like death stranding. But I do not want to buy the game twice just to get a metal gear solid reference underground stage in this open world explorer and deliverer game.

Even then not everything he would've wanted in the game would've made into the final product since realistically you'd still have rules and standards to follow.
