The rumors of this spin-off seem true. However, I recall the rumors saying this spin-off would be launching in Weekly Shonen Champion, and none of the rumors said anything about Weekly Young Champion which doesn't actually exist.

Anyway, Isekai Lupin was bound to happen at some point, now we wait for Isekai Devilman or Isekai Astro Boy.

“What do you mean we summoned the manga version of Lupin? We were trying for the Castle of Cagliostro one!”

My idea, along with that more Fujiko in the anime spin-off. https://www.lupinencyclopedia.com/forums/index.php/topic,3826.msg37561.html#msg37561

Isekai would have to merge with established franchises before finally being spent as a trend. Well given that it's Lupin, it won't as tiresome to see him master the magical system of the world with ease and have every major female character fall in love with as with dull self-insert OCs. At worst, it will about as good/bad as the average Lupin TV special.

This makes me think of an Isekai where the protagonist gets reincarnated into the worlds greatest thief.

There was that one manga where Char is a modern day Japanese office lady.

...Isekai Lupin is an interesting premise but sounds like it'd inevitably just end with the protag being shot. A lot.
