It's sad but it's a decent time to wrap it up. The last storyline wasn't great and there's only one plot thread that needs to be wrapped up

I loved everything about this series and it feels like it is time for it to end anyway.
My only disappointment is that I wish Hayasaka got a love interest but maybe we can get a sequel/spinoff about that?

I think the franchise is big enough that more is definitely coming. Plenty of money to be made here. Could be spin-off, could be something else.

That's quite the number of chapters to announce ahead of the ending, but I guess that's a good thing since it should mean that there'll be plenty of time for a proper ending.
I hope the anime does well enough to get the extra 2 seasons we'd probably need to finish the story (presuming the announced anime is the 4th season).
