Not gonna lie, the slow drip feed-release schedule for all these Red songs is actually working on getting me excited to see the movie, even if only to hear the music with some actual context. I'm not even caught up in the main series (only started last Dec and the dub's an arc behind anyway), nor have I ever seen a single One Piece movie before haha

Catch up to the dub and continue with the sub you won't regret it I suggest that you watch One Piece Films first due in part of Oda's involvement (the events partake in the movies/films are non-canon, fyi) OPF: Strong World Commemorate the anime's 10th anniversary, written by Oda-sensei himself, the MC is canon due in part of both Ch 0 (included in vol 0 for JPN movie goers) and in the main storyline OPF: Z Commemorate the manga's 15th anniversary, executive produced by Oda, the MC is non-canon, though the manga cover shows him (to promote the film and for the 15th anni manga special) OPF: Gold Executive produced by Oda, MC is non-canon, though the manga cover shows him (to promote the film) OP: Stampede Not OPF though as it was to commemorate the anime's 20th anniversary, Oda served as creative supervisor, MC is non-canon, though the manga cover shows him (to promote the movie) (only two small, but big plot stuff are canon and were shown before it was in the manga) OPF: Red (once it comes out of course  )
