Does this signal his retirement from the industry? Or will he continue in the industry but not as a developer?

Tango is in a good spot right now and he hasn´t directed since TEW1 and instead took over production. The director of TEW2 even directed Hi-Fi Rush so no one needs to worry about a lack of leadership going forward.
I hope to see him get in the director´s chair again if he chooses to freelance. Capcom fixed itself, and work with contractors and Mikami said years ago that he has another RE idea in him. He also said years that he needs a break from horror so maybe not. But I sure hope so. The word deserves one last Mikami horror masterpiece. Outside of a successor to Godhand and Vanquish. |
