It seems to be tied to the movie... which I've not seen yet.

I've been waiting for this! Looking pretty interesting so far!

This doesn't look like it's directly tied to any plot elements from those movies (Reflection and Detonation), but it does seem to be using them as a jumping-off point for the scenario this series will take place in.
The Nanoha timeline can be a bit confusing, but I think it's safe to assume that the new EXCEEDS entries in the series are following up the timeline established by the movie remakes & Reflection/Detonation, and building up a new future story that's different from the future depicted in Nanoha StrikerS and its subsequent ViVid series.

I don't know anything about this anime, I just wanted to say that the trailer looks like the complete opposite of the poster.

I’m just wondering if this is even going to be streamed in the US as they never streamed the new TV cut of the movies and none of the other past Nanoha titles are on streaming. Pretty much the only way to watch the Nanoha release is to buy the Discotek releases which is better than before but the average anime fan isn’t going to know that.

Yeah, this is a different timeline entirely. In StrikerS timeline, Nanoha received a pretty serious injury which it seems like she didn't get here.

Good point. I guess someone will pick it up, maybe Crunchyroll. Perhaps they'll take the opportunity to pick up the others as well.
