After the Rain was the manga series that turned me on to Mayuzuki and I loved her art style and how she navigated the story. I've been enjoying Kowloon and I'm looking forward to see how it ends. I'm also looking forward to see what she comes up with next since you can't box her inside any particular genre like a sci-fi/mystery with Kowloon and a coming of age/drama like After the Rain, (haven't read her short story collection, yet). It should be exciting whatever it is and I hope it's picked up here in the states.

I can't wait for more, even if it has to end. I can't wait I can't wait I can't wait I can't waaaaiiiiiit aaaaaahhhhhh I CAN'T WAIT! I've been hooked since ANN featured an interview with Mayuzuki-san and heard about the creative process that went into "Kowloon Generic Romance." And then it became so much more than it seemed to be. It's the first new thing I've gotten excited about in so long. I need more answers. I need more character growth and change. I need more mysteries blown apart! I need to see how it ends!

I've really enjoyed reading this manga and I'm looking forward to seeing how it ends. Miyuki is a fun character.

For anyone reading the manga, without spoilers is the ending looking like it’s heading in a different enough direction to be worth checking out? I enjoyed the anime but I was disappointed in the ending as it felt rushed and you could definitely tell the manga wasn’t finished yet and I’m curious to know if the manga improves the anime ending any.

From what I glanced from the raw, the ending is pretty similar to the anime, except less rushed.
