I always wonder why this anime keeps getting renewed. I watch it. It’s not the worst anime, but there are countless others that deserve renewals. This anime isn’t one of them.

it's probably cheap to make considering 75% of the show is flashbacks or stills as Kazuya monologues (and not even good looking stills half the time)

I'm honestly not surprised.
I've dropped off reading the manga, so I'm expecting this.

I'm not surprised but I think I'm all rented out after season 5.

And panning shots of whatever Chizuru is wearing at the time.

This was a bad idea. Now those who have not been reading the manga are going to see this story fall apart.

I watched the first season since the concept was interesting. But that that one season I was over it. The fact it got six and so many other shows are far more worthy of a seasons 2, 3 etc is so disappointing. But then again it must be doing somewhat decently in Japan. Light it on fire.

It is a horrible series with a horrible main character, but I keep coming back, I guess I know it it is horrible, and that is the charm of it. The main lead I show want to punch him. But I guess that is the hook, making yourself feel better in that I least I am better than this punk.

That being said, the series does have it strong points, mainly the supporting characters especially the v tuber girl.

I am just glad we are past that vacation which outside of the female lead who is by far so much mature than anybody else, just features the worst characters and my favorite characters the v tuber and the shy girl are not in this arc.

This series getting sequels has nothing to do with quality. It remains popular enough and will probably get a full adaptation.

Boy would I wish for How Not to Summon a Demon Lord or an adaptation of Ayakashi Triangle that isn't just meh to have the number of seasons RaG gets instead of RaG getting them.

Recently a third season was announced for How to NOT Summon a Demon Lord.

I don't really pay attention to this series, but does the manga get worse after this point? Or is this a case of "Anime somehow is worse than the manga, and it goes further downhill"?

Because it feels like a lot of the issues of the anime are a mix of TMS not putting any effort into it, combined with a pretty crappy source manga.
