Warriors? What the hell? Number 1? Really? Not judging it since I've never read it, but it just seems so unlikely. I've never heard a thing about it (I'm aware of the first series).

Ummm, really? I guess Tokyopop must be pretty happy though. They haven't had much of a presence on this chart since Fruits Basket ended.

My guess is this new Warriors incarnation's doing well because it has a previously established fanbase which, from what I've heard, is sizable enough.

Indeed. I think it's a really great thing that Yen and Viz are doing so well, particularly the former since they're still a relatively new company going up against the proverbial "big boys."

Well, the books its based on are bestsellers, so that helps. Anyway, I like the series, so I guess yay. Smile

I guess it's fanbase extends beyond manga fans. I wasn't aware it was novel series as well.
