5Ds was great (at least the first 40-50 episodes) and i like Zexal II very much.

I mostly care about the pre-Duel Monsters manga, which was terrific. I wish they would adapt those to this show's canon (Toei's adaptation was weird and doesn't count).
The original Dual Monsters lineup wasn't bad however. The card games can get really boring though. All these spinoffs reek of mediocrity, which is where the original series was headed toward the end of it's run.

Interesting. Will probably watch it when it eventually comes to America. BTW was that footage from the 3d movie? Because I don't remember Duel Monsters and GX looking as good as it did in the pv.

A show that will pretty much "replace" the original? You would be happy with that? That would be a smack in the face to the original and if you're a fan of the original I don't think anyone should want a show that would be replace it.
