Why is there a separate news article each time an episode premieres? Is this really necessary?

We've done it this way in the past with accompanying shorts for TV anime when the shorts aren't streamed with subtitles legally otherwise, such as the Blu-ray Disc shorts for Comet Lucifer. By posting these each week we are then able to let fans know when new videos are up and summarize them for those who are interested but can't understand Japanese.
