Aww man, thats a lot to pay for Escaflowne, which i've never actually seen. I've always wanted to, but not sure I can throw that much down on a blind buy.

The standard edition is out in February, series only, if you can wait that long. Anyway one of the discs in the Ultimate Edition is being replaced as the subtitles on Episode 8 are in SD causing them to be displayed very small and on the mid left of the screen.

There was a early bird discount available on Anime Limited's store and I meant to check out the series (which I have never actually seen) but forgot and missed out.
