Oh please, please be an anime announcement. They even have a perfect end point with something recent in the manga (from whats translated anyway).

Behind Shokugeki and One Piece it's my favourite WSJ series and just gets better as the story moves on. I had little to no interest in sumo before reading this but it's opened my eyes to it now.

Recently we had a "shocking news" for a Hibiki live-action movie. I wonder how many people were actually shocked.

I seriously doubt it'll be an anime announcement. Why wouldn't they do it in the Jump Festa?

I don't think that's the type of manga to get a stage play. Unless most of the actors would be sumo wrestlers.

Don't think it deserves an anime, mediocre.

Dr Stone, Promised Neverland, Kingdom etc. needs an anime far more.

This series is way older than those.

Can't trust Jump so easily with these "Super Important Announcement". We all remember what happened in 2016. So that means live-action movie then...right? Right? RIGHT?

Well Kingdom is far older, but they are all far superior in quality which is what I value.
