Unless it's an alternative sequel to season 1, not interested. Put the time in a new universe instead please (keep the mech designer team, they did great job).

... Just let the trash stay in the dumpster. I mean the whole series wasn't all bad, but the writing was complete garbage.

This looks like a manga anyway based on the art so I guess it doesn't really relate to them bringing us another tv anime.

Hopefully this is set far in the future of the same universe because:

A. I really don't want anything else to do with the really bad romantic sub-plot

B. It would be really interesting to see how the politics of the solar system have changed since Kudelia and Tekkadan have become historical figures and maybe even looked up to as revolutionaries opposing discrimination.

I liked the series =(

I still think season 2 was a fine ending to the series so I don't why there would be a sequel. Also, a prequel would be irrelevant...

This seems highly unlikely, given the, uh, finality of the ending.

Between this and a future of Gundam Unicorn stretching into infinity, it seems someone at Sunrise doesn't like me.

Well at least the new SD Gundam kit line is adding Mazinger Z for some reason...

Redo season 2 and make the ending not make a mess of itself with the spoiler[ridiculous kill em all "gotcha". What is this, Victory Gundam? At least in that the MC lived.]

I loved season 1 (and its first OP). I loved the dub (Kyle McCarley was fantastic). But I'm pretending it ended there. They pulled a 00 on it.

I liked Season 1, but I loved Season 2. Looking forward to more, though I suspect it might be a prequel centered around whomever piloted Barbatos before Mikazuki did.

Hard to imagine a sequel or perhaps they do make one that happens far into distant future perhaps. But well gonna wait and see personaly quite enjoyed both seasons.

One of my favorite gundam show, would be cool to see a prequel.

You might be able to do something if the timeline went decades ahead, perhaps with people realizing that the current government was built on a complete lie and that the figures who were lauded as heroes were in fact corrupt, greedy, and ruthless. A sort of cyclical nature of war and politics.

Please no... Mari Okada doesn't need to infect Gundam even more with her pretentious melodrama... IBO was mediocre, but at least it had a conclusive ending, albeit not the best.

Why not half-prequel, half-sequel like The Godfather Part II?
