Oh my goodness, So Grimm's Fairy Tales will be getting a both dub and subtitled release!!!
My god, thank you Nippon Animation!!! I'm sure anime fans that are new parents are going to appreciate this announcement. So finally, all the Robot Romance Trilogy has now been licensed with Daimos. I'm sure somebody who grew up playing the toys under the "Shogun Warriors" toy line would appreciate watching the anime their toys they played as a kids would be able to watch the anime for the first time. Wow, I never thought we would get Laserion for the US release. This is really neat. And Discotek, about the licensing of Future Robo Daltanias you announced on your tweet, very clever. You know about Daltanias almost became Voltron before Go-Lion would become the Lion Voltron we came to know. I'm very proud you are even aware of this, I mean not many people know about Daltanias (except hardcore Voltron fans) almost became Voltron. I hope you can get Albegas, the anime that would've become the unreleased third Voltron aka Gladiator Voltron. I wonder if the guys at WEP and Dreamworks are aware of this licensing. Oh wow, this is the greatest Discotek announcement I've ever seen. Last edited by mdo7 on Mon Dec 14, 2020 11:21 pm; edited 2 times in total |

They mentioned the rights issues have been fixed so it’ll have the music and Japanese dub in full for the Kodocha release! I can’t wait to have that in my collection.

Damn, no Monster, yet. That's okay. I think that one is inevitable. They probably have to save up a little more for that one. I will definitely buy Hajime no Ippo in the meantime.
Keep hearing lots of good things about Kenichi, might blind-buy that one. |

Too bad Discotek couldn't license the Philippine English dub of Daimos. I vaguely recall seeing Laserion on TV. Forgot who did the dub. |

That's OK, I don't need the English dub, it's not like the anime was never broadcasted in the US in the beginning. So the loss of the English dub is not a biggie for me. Last edited by mdo7 on Mon Dec 14, 2020 11:20 pm; edited 1 time in total |

That's all pretty neat. However the only thing i have any interest in is Black Rock Shooter. Possibly Kenichi. So, pretty much a normal Discotek day for me.

Mahoraba! ~Heartfelt Days~ \(>O<)/ Eek! I'm overly happy about this one! Such a cute show and I loved it back in the day...when I had to watch it via fansub. Discotek has made me giddy about this one. Will totally be adding it to my shelf!

Project A-ko, you say? Guess that's on my upgrade list! And I'm also looking forward to the pink jacket Lupin series.
Still no Blu-ray release of Monster? I'm still waiting. Ditto Fushigi Yuugi, unless Media Blasters still has the rights. If they don't do a Blu-ray release of that, I hope Discotek snatches it up. I'll be happy with a SD-BD set of it, to cut down all the shelf space my old Geneon DVDs take up. Wish they'd dub the second half of Kodocha, though. I don't like having to go from a dub to subtitles. Last edited by Clyde_Cash on Thu Feb 18, 2021 10:16 pm; edited 1 time in total |

Yeah, for those unfamiliar with FUNi's release, it had it's first opening missing and some dialogue muted because Tokio is a Johnny's band and apparently one of the main reasons Discotek was able to clear it was because of Johnny Kitagawa's passing last year so we're getting the whole show now with full JP audio & content. Heard good things so I'll be buying along with Lupin Part 3 as top priorities. |

Wow, I'm not sure which is the bigger surprise, Kodocha getting a full series release or that it includes all the music including the opening
Also really great to see Grimm's Fairy Tales! I'll definitely be picking both of those up. Hopefully Kenichi does well and Discotek can get the OVAs, though considering we haven't seen anything on the Haruka Nogizaka finale I won't hold out too much hope :/ Project A-Ko looks great. Looks like a lot of great releases for giant robot fans too |

I was recently mulling over getting the individual Project A-ko discs. Glad to hear my decision to wait will pay off. I'll definitely be getting that upscaled collection.
Can't wait for season 2 of City Hunter to get a blu-ray release either. Sorry to say none of the new licenses excite me very much, but happy for the people who have been waiting for those shows. |

Looking forward to that Black Rock Shooter Bluray! Hopefully, 2021 will also bring us a few more seasons of Symphogear...
