Demon Slayer was very close to reaching Sazae-san's rating of 8.7%. Nonetheless, the former show's 8.5% rating is pretty good.

Sazae-san is the GOAT. KnY may beat it a few times at the start, but Sazae-san will win in the long run.

Nothing to take away from Sazae-san's insane consistency, but KnY wins every week when including recordings (even harder if you wanted to count the fact that kny streams pretty much everywhere). The fact that they're even close in live viewers despite one airing at 6PM and the other at almost midnight should be a pretty major hint.
