This is my tongue-in-cheek way of preemptively warding off any complaints from those who don't know much about Japanese history when mentioning the death of Sakamoto Ryouma--i.e., the most famous thing about him.

Ah, I see; there was never any need to worry about anything like that coming from my keyboard as my knowledge of Japanese history is limited to the twentieth century. (I don't consider 2000+ C.E. to qualify as "history" )
