I was also surprised to see them announcing him already. 70 episodes is not a stretch for them to hit since they've mostly been going at a rate of 3 chapters an episode, but that means he'll probably show up towards the end of the season which makes this early. Though they could also end up shuffling some stuff around to get him to show up earlier.
I am sad to be losing the amazing OP we have. Megumi Ishitani doesn't miss and with a Yoasobi song too it's going to be hard to top. I do find it very funny that Miharu has been hiding in the OP this whole time too and he isn't even going to show up until after they change it out.
