I like the premise and the art looks nice.
Shame it's being translated by an AI company. |

Sigh..."AI translation company".
AI can be a good tool (stay away from art, AI) and whether or not it's horrible really depends on how it's used. If it's a quick translation...Okay. But you need a meatbag not klanker (see kids, I'm with it!) to do the final script. And if you're using AI the scriptwriter had better have working knowledge of Japanese. I went and looked at their web site and was both encouraged and discouraged. They had job postings for translators (that's good!) but seemed to think AI could localize manga in multiple languages quickly (uh oh). But they also seem to really have an appreciation for manga (good!). I really do not was bad AI done translations - we've all seen them at this point. But they could succeed if they use AI correctly. |
