13 volumes is a solid number, especially for such a fun series.

The most recent chapter I read had a lot of "heading into the final arc" flags so I'm not too surprised it's coming to an end soon.
I'll miss it a lot.

I started reading the manga after watching Silver Link's great anime adaptation of it in 2021, and it's been one of my favorite manga these last few years. What'd be really awesome is if, when it's over, Silver Link finishes the story with a second season, or perhaps a film or something.

I like the mangaka's work, watched the anime, enjoyed it, but I'm hesitant to read the manga. Is it worth the read?

njprogfan I really enjoyed the anime and I wish it would get a physical media release in North America but, and this isn't a criticism of the anime as a whole or even a criticism of how the character designs were streamlined to be suitable for animation, a lot of Jahy's most memeable facial expressions from the manga, especially when she's in chibi form, didn't survive the transition to animation so, if you don't read the manga, you're missing out on some visually top notch funny faces.
