I had no idea this was from MAPPA, they did a good job emulating the original Cardfight animation style.

I like how they couldn't just have a second Aichi so you're stuck with Shin from his weird "we don't really know what we're doing but we need to make something" season to represent the V era

Now that I think about it, they should’ve included Emi from that one magical girl season.

Now that I think about it, they should’ve included Emi from that one magical girl season. |
Emi and Shuka would've been cool instead of this pretending like that never happened

I remember watching the original anime and getting into the TCG back then. I eventually lost interest but went back briefly when they had the mobile game. Pale Moon was my favorite with Granblue being second. I remember Misaki being best girl.
