I happen to highly enjoy these, and I noticed that the VIZ dubs don't have any of these on the end. !!!??? Why were these left off the end of the episodes? None of the episodes aired on Adult Swim have it, and on my DvD's, so far none of the Soul Society Arc have any of the Captain reviews at the end either! Where did these go?

where are they on adult swim in the series? I never noticed them until after soul society arc when watching the fansubs

The Illustrated Shinigami Picture Book starts with episode 54, but before that during the soul society arc, at the end of each episode was the introduction of either one of the 13 squad captains, lieutenants, or one of the seated officers.
This has been left out of the dub so far, and I've not noticed it on Adult Swim either, and they are up to episode 61 on the air. Why are these being left out? The picture book has many enjoyable events with in its self! |

They can't even be bothered to show the full ending anymore. The extras certainly don't seem to be a priority.

That would be really sad if they don't plan on showing these. I hope they will at least be an extra in the box set then, or something. These were some of my favorite endings as they showed clips from every day Soul Society life with the Captains and their Vice Captains. My favorite is Kyouraku and Nanao. |

I just saw the one when everyone was out sitting on the porch admiring the moon and drinking sake and it ended up being whats his name the bald dudes head with light reflecting off of it

I'm guessing they were cut for time to fit into the broadcast slot. It'd be a real shame if they weren't on the DVDs, since there's no excuse for them not to be. Then again, this is a Viz release we're talking about
