So, according to Cinema Today, Italy will airing the seires next month on RTI. So it'll still be premiering this Spring, just not in Japan.

I believe it was always scheduled to air at a later date in Japan, compared to the Italian launch of the series.

I wish the soundtrack were like the second series that aired back in the (mid to late?) 70s. Oh, I would love that!

That's quite a big gap between the italian and japanese broadcasts then.

Oh well, it's nice to finally hear something about it, I've watched almost everything Lupin related so I'm looking forward to this.

One thing I've always loved about the Lupin anime has been the soundtrack, so I'm glad that the original composer is involved. Can't wait to see how this turns out!

Not until Fall? Damn it.

I'm hoping it continues the more hardboiled approach of The Woman Called Fujiko Mine and Daisuke Jigen's Gravestone. I know they want to mix styles, but just so long as Lupin isn't some soft, toothless pansy like he's been outside of the Koike stuff the past decade or so, it should be at least somewhat fun.

I know Lupin will never retire, but it's hard to come back to doing a series after they already did a finale movie--
Then again, did anyone really want to see a series about Fujiko, without the Lupin associations?

I mean, nice to have him back and all, but it's like doing more Doraemon movies after "Stand By Me".

(And I've already accepted that there are other VA's who can voice Lupin voice nearly as well as the late Yasuo Yamada, but still...)

This better not turn into a Sailor Moon Crystal-type disaster or else everyone will flip their dung.

I wonder if Kobayashi is going to return as Jigen. He's getting on in years but he's a staple in the franchise. Also nice to hear Ohno is returning as well.

If it does get licensed, I hope they don't get Sonny Strait to be Lupin again. The guy tries, but... just, no. That's not Lupin.
