Nobunaga no Shinobi TV Anime Premieres in October

The official website of the television anime adaptation of Naoki Shigeno's Nobunaga no Shinobi four-panel manga revealed last Thursday that the anime will premiere in October. The Entermix magazine had revealed in May that the anime would premiere this fall.
The anime's "Episode 0" screened at the AnimeJapan 2016 event in March and then streamed online in April.
The show's cast includes:
- Inori Minase as Chidori
- Wataru Hatano as Nobunaga
- Kappei Yamaguchi as Hideyoshi
- Ayumu Murase as Sukezō
- Chiaki Takahashi as Kichō
- Suzuko Mimori as Oichi
- Rie Kugimiya as Nene
Akitarō Daichi (Nurse Angel Ririka SOS, Sexy Commando Gaiden: Sugoi yo!! Masaru-san, Kamisama Kiss) is directing the anime at TMS Entertainment, and Junko Yamanaka (Detective Conan, Kamisama Kiss, ReLIFE) is designing the characters for animation.
The gag manga centers on a young female ninja named Chidori, whose dream is to help the Warring States-era warlord Oda Nobunaga to achieve his goals.
