All Sphere Voice Actresses to Be in 2011 Pokémon Films

Masafumi Mima, the sound director of dozens of anime including almost every Pokémon project, revealed on Monday that all four members of the voice actress unit Sphere will appear in this year's pair of Pokémon films. Mima then indicated that the four members — Minako Kotobuki, Ayahi Takagaki, Haruka Tomatsu, and Aki Toyosaki — will be voicing Pokémon creatures.
This year will have two Pokémon feature films, Gekijōban Pocket Monster Best Wishes! Victini to Kuroki Eiyū Zekrom and Gekijōban Pocket Monster Best Wishes! Victini to Shiroki Eiyū Reshiram, opening on the same day (July 16) instead of just one. Nana Mizuki will voice the title character, the "victory Pokémon" Victini. Kouichi Yamadera, Shōko Nakagawa, Hideki Takahashi, Shosuke Tanihara, Satomi Ishihara, and Mao Daichi have all been previously announced to play parts in the movies.
In addition to the Pokémon films, Mima is overseeing the sound for Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos and Mardock Scramble: The Second Combustion this year.
