Portland Art Museum Shows 13 Ghibli Films in May

The Portland Art Museum's Northwest Film Center in Oregon is hosting a retrospective on Studio Ghibli's body of work from May 4 to May 25. The films play on a theater-size screen with new 35mm prints remastered specifically for the event. All films are shown in Japanese with English subtitles, except for Pom Poko and Howl's Moving Castle which will be shown in English. The selection also includes Only Yesterday and Ocean Waves, which are not otherwise available in North America for purchase. A series pass for all 13 films costs $65 dollars. Individual ticket prices for adults are $9.
