Time of Eve Staff Holds Pale Cocoon/Aquatic Language Release Poll
posted on
Pied Piper, Directions, and Studio Rikka's Time of Eve Kickstarter campaign opened a poll for backers on Saturday to ask for preferences on the Pale Cocoon and Mizu no Kotoba (Aquatic Language) extras.
Backers of US$55 were to receive Yasuhiro Yoshiura's previous short works via digital download, but the campaign management decided to drop those plans after input from backers. Due to licensing, the shorts can only be released on DVD or Blu-ray after January 1, 2014. The campaign is looking for input on delaying the Time of Eve film release to after January 1, and whether backers would prefer the shorts to be included as Blu-ray extras or on a region-free DVD.
The campaign also noted that a previously released, "interesting" English dub for Mizu no Kotoba will be included.
The three companies announced last week that they added a stretch goal of US$126,000 to create a new backer level that would include Kotobukiya's Time of Eve Official Fan Book translated into English. As of press time the campaign has raised US$144,506 and has five days left.
