Cosplay Mania Hosts Voice Actors Wataru Hatano, Kōtarō Nishiyama as Guests

Philippine convention Cosplay Mania announced last week that it will host voice actors Wataru Hatano and Kōtarō Nishiyama as guests.

Hatano debuted as a voice actor in 2001 playing the role of the character Kodaira Kouichi in the television anime Yobarete Tobidete Akubi-chan. Since then he has voiced roles in such anime as Yumeria (Tomokazu Mikuri), Fantastic Children (Soran), Basilisk (Chikuma Koshirou), Toward the Terra (Sam Houston), Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu (Yūto Ayase), Fairy Tail (Gajeel Redfox), Hunter × Hunter (Shaiapouf), Polar Bear's Café (Handa-kun), Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic (Spartos), Jormungand (Lutz), Kuroko's Basketball (Reo Mibuchi), The Heroic Legend of Arslan (Jaswant), Dance with Devils (Lindo Tachibana), Bungo Stray Dogs (Motojirō Kajii), and Yuri!!! on Ice (Georgi Popovich). He has also performed the theme songs for many of the anime for which he has voiced a role.

Nishiyama made his voice acting debut with a minor role in the Sankarea: Undying Love in 2012, but made his major debut in the Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE! anime in 2015, voicing the role of Atsushi Kinugawa. He has voiced roles in such anime as Jewelpet: Magical Change (Sakutarō Kirara), Noragami Aragoto (Suzuha), Tantei Team KZ Jiken Note (Kazunori Uesugi), Kiznaiver (Yoshiharu Hisomu), Servamp (Koyuki), 91 Days (Frate Vanetti), All Out!! (Yūto Keta), Haikyu!! (Kazuhito Narita), and Sagrada Reset (Hitsuchi-kun).

Cosplay Mania will take place at the SMX Convention Center in Metro Manila on September 30-October 1. Singers Konomi Suzuki, Shiena Nishizawa, and kradness are also performing at the convention.
