Killing Bites Anime Reveals Teaser Video, Visuals, Cast, Theme Songs

The official website for the television anime adaptation of illustrator Kazasa Sumita (Witchblade Takeru) and storywriter Shinya Murata's (Jackals) Killing Bites manga began streaming the anime's first teaser promotional video on Wednesday. The website also revealed teaser visuals, the main cast, and theme song information.

The main cast includes:

Sora Amamiya as Hitomi Uzaki (Honey Badger)

Wataru Hatano as Yūya Nomoto

Maaya Uchida as Eruza Nakanishi (Cheetah)

Sumire Uesaka as Ui Inaba (Rabbit)

The cast members are reprising their roles from the 2015 drama CDs. NBC Universal's official anime and music YouTube channel is streaming two audio drama videos until November 30.

The anime will premiere in the Animeism programming block of MBS in January.

Yasuto Nishikata (episode director for The Heroic Legend of Arslan, The Seven Deadly Sins) is directing the series at LIDEN FILMS (Love and Lies, The Heroic Legend of Arslan). Aoi Akashiro (Classroom of the Elite, Fuuka) is in charge of series composition, and Kazuo Watanabe (The Heroic Legend of Arslan, Oku-sama wa Joshi Kōsei) is designing the characters. Yasuharu Takanashi (Naruto Shippūden, Fairy Tail) is composing the music. fripSide will perform the opening theme song "killing bites," and Kitsunetsuki is performing the ending theme song "Kedamono Damono."

The official English website for Shogakukan's Monthly Hero's magazine describes the original manga:

Killing Bites are underworld duels between human-animal hybrids.
One beast who knows no fear will fight in this animalistic world full of fear and insanity.

This ultimate battle of the beasts will shock you to your core!

Sumita and Murata launched the manga in Monthly Hero's in November 2013. Shogakukan released the manga's eighth compiled book volume on October 5.

The official website for the Killing Bites PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita game announced in September that the staff have suspended development on the game. Developer Nex Entertainment announced the multiplayer game project in 2015, and it was slated for spring 2016. However, the developer was dissolved in 2016, and the game was delayed.
