Anime Expo to Host Tiger & Bunny, Dororo Composer Yoshihiro Ike

The official website for the Anime Expo convention announced on Friday that it will host composer and musician Yoshihiro Ike. Ike will host a concert with a 50-piece orchestra on July 7 that will play music from B: The Beginning, Rage of Bahamut Genesis, Tiger & Bunny, Saint Seiya: Legend of Sanctuary, Dororo, and Shadowverse. Ike will participate in a panel on July 6.
Aside from the above works, Ike has also composed music for Blood: The Last Vampire, Welcome to THE SPACE SHOW, Kuroko's Basketball (seasons 2 and 3), Cobra The Animation, Ergo Proxy, Genocidal Organ, The Great Passage, and Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions, among many other anime projects. He has also composed the soundtrack for the long-running live-action Aibō series.
Additionally, MangaGamer announced on Friday that it will host illustrator and character designer Q-Gaku (Funbag Fantasy, Eden's Ritter) at the event.
This year's Anime Expo will take place from July 4 to July 7 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The event will also hold an audition with the show's staff for an English-speaking role in one episode of the upcoming Shikizakura television anime. Other guests include actor Ryō Kitamura, manga creator Bisco Hatori, Love Live! Sunshine!!'s Aqours group (without Arisa Komiya), and singer Kanako Ito.
