Corporate officer at The Pokémon Company Susumu Fukunaga stated at the Pokémon Festivities event in October 2024, "We want to take our events to many other cities and not just Tier 1 cities." Fukunaga had stated the company wants "to create more and more opportunities to reach out to the audiences in India and find a place in their everyday life. We believe that on-ground events are key to fostering meaningful interactions with existing Pokémon fans, while carving a way to connect with new ones." The event also saw the launch of the Pokémon-themed festive Yakult gift packs.
