1st Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Film Re-Releases in Indian Theaters on March 6, Gets ScreenX Screenings

The screenings will only be in Japanese with English subtitles.
Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment released the film in Indian theaters on September 12 across 750 screens nationwide in Japanese with English subtitles as well as with English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubs. The film is the highest-grossing anime film in India. It crossed ₹10 crore (US$1,132,400) in pre-sales, making the film the highest-grossing non-Hollywood foreign film based on opening day sales. Crunchyroll hosted an early screening for the film on September 7. The company's brand ambassadors Rashmika Mandanna and Tiger Shroff attended the event.
The film has earned a cumulative total of 39,702,929,100 yen (about US$251 million) as of its 33rd weekend at the Japanese box office.

Tanjiro Kamado – a boy who joined an organization dedicated to hunting down demons called the Demon Slayer Corps after his younger sister Nezuko was turned into a demon.While growing stronger and deepening his friendships and bonds with fellow corps members, Tanjiro has battled many demons with his comrades – Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira. Along the way, his journey has led him to fight alongside the Demon Slayer Corps' highest-ranking swordsmen, the Hashira, including Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku aboard the Mugen Train, Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui within the Entertainment District, as well as Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji at the Swordsmith Village.
As the Demon Slayer Corps members and Hashira engaged in a group strength training program, the Hashira Training, in preparation for the forthcoming battle against the demons, Muzan Kibutsuji appears at the Ubuyashiki Mansion. With the head of the Demon Corps in danger, Tanjiro and the Hashira rush to the headquarters but are plunged into a deep descent to a mysterious space by the hands of Muzan Kibutsuji.
The destination of where Tanjiro and Demon Slayer Corps have fallen is the demons' stronghold – the Infinity Castle. And so, the battleground is set as the final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons ignites.
The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc television anime premiered on the Fuji TV channel and its affiliates with a one-hour special in May 2024, and ended with the 60-minute-long eighth episode in June 2024. Crunchyroll began streaming the Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubs for the anime season in June 2024.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training-, the theatrical screening of the one-hour first episode of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc television anime and the final episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc, opened in Japanese theaters on February 2, 2024. The screenings for the anime opened in Indian theaters on February 23, 2024. Sony Pictures Entertainment hosted a premiere screening for the anime in Mumbai on February 21, 2024. Early screenings began in several cities across India on February 22, 2024. The film crossed ₹5,19,94,270 in revenue in its first week in India becoming the highest-earning international film in the country for 2024 at the time.
Voice actor Natsuki Hanae and producer Yūma Takahashi attended the "world tour" theatrical screening for the film in India in April 2024. Hanae and Takahashi also attended the Mumbai Comic Con event for a Demon Slayer panel at Jio World Centre, BKC.
The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc anime premiered on April 9, 2023 with a one-hour special and aired for 11 episodes. Crunchyroll and Netflix streamed the anime in India as it aired in Japan. Crunchyroll added the Hindi dub of the anime in May 2023 and began streaming the Tamil and Telugu dubs in January 2024.
