| Mobile Suit Gundam - The Movie Trilogy | Very good | Only recommended if you want to watch a compiled version of the original tv series. |
| Moeyo Ken (OAV) | Excellent | It's like the TV series, except a different focus on different characters but a similar idea in the plot like in the TV series. |
| Moeyo Ken (TV) | Excellent | A funny series with Rumiko Takahashi designed characters. A must see for Ranma 1/2 fans. |
| Momotaro's Sea Eagle (movie) | Excellent | It's a complete opposite of what's found in American WW2 cartoons. The Japanese are viewed as victorious and the Americans are viewed as bumbling idiots. |
| Momotaro, Sacred Sailors (movie) | Excellent | The first true full length anime film that is also the last WW2 anime made during WW2. Like the first one this one also portrays the Americans as idiots only this time we actually see the American speak more than they did for the first one. The climax is the best part of this film along with the construction of a Japanese tropical base. |

| Mononoke (TV) | Very good | Stylish series about a medicine man who exocises ghosts or monsters during his travels. He bears no name and is only refer to by his occupation. |
| MoonPhase (TV) | Very good | A good anime on vampires with plenty of cute girls to adore. |
| Moyashimon (TV) | Masterpiece | A must see Agriculture related anime, the characters are great to know and it never gets dull. |
| MURAMASA (movie) | Decent | Not really the best Tesuka short film as this doesn't seem like something he'd make. |
| Murder Princess (OAV) | Very good | Not perfect, but the main heroine will atleast appeal both men and women alike. As she's someone that men will want to date or women want to cosplay as. |
| Mushishi (live-action movie) | Very good | A great live action adaption on the anime, highly recommended to the fans. |

| My Neighbor Totoro (movie) | Masterpiece | One of the first anime films I watched as a kid, it's a feel good movie that'll appeal anyone of all ages. Makes average family films look boring. |
| My Neighbors the Yamadas (movie) | Masterpiece | Isao Takahata's best film, the Yamadas are the Family Circle of Japan. |
| Nabari no Ou (TV) | Very good | A modern day ninja series with a blend of drama, action, slice of life, and humor all from the blender. The main protagonist will make you laugh at least once. |
| Nadia - The Secret of Blue Water (TV) | Masterpiece | See where Disney's Atlantis got it's inspiration from. |
| Nadia - The Secret of Blue Water: The Motion Picture | Decent | I tihnk what made this movie suffer was the ridiculously long flashback scene and none of the original staff members were involved with it's production. Plus the story for this movie seem unoganized and it was like the staff never watched the whole TV anime. This movie only prooved what you should never do to try to continue a TV anime. Fans of the TV anime will hate it dearly. |
| Naruto (TV) | Excellent | Best ninja anime to watch, has everything a ninja fan will desire. |
| Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (movie) | Masterpiece | Miyazaki's first successful film, a must see for all Ghibli fans cause this is the film that started the company. |
| Neo Yokio (U.S. TV) | Excellent | |
| Neon Genesis Evangelion (TV) | Masterpiece | A lively mecha anime that has plenty of drama to witness and characters to either like or feel pity towards them. |
| Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth (movie) | Good | First part is just a recap of what happened in the TV series along with new animation of some of the kid characters performing musical instruments. It's part two of the movie that is worth checking out. |
| Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion (movie) | Good | Those who were left hanging after watching Death & Rebirth will be glad to see a conclusion to what was left unfinished with what was considered the new ending for the TV series. |
| Nerima Daikon Brothers (TV) | Very good | |
| New Fist of the North Star (OAV) | Excellent | Highly recommended if you liek the original series. |
| Ninja Scroll (movie) | Excellent | A must see cult anime film, you owe it to yourself to see this film before you die. |
| Ninku the Movie | Very good | A decent anime with one very bizarre main character. |
| Ocean Waves (movie) | Excellent | Best High School TV movie I ever seen. |

| On the Way to a Smile - Episode Denzel: Final Fantasy VII (OAV) | Excellent | It's good if you played the game and seen Advent Children. |
| On Your Mark (movie) | Excellent | The music video is so amazing, you'd want to wish that you can be in that world. That's what happens when they hired Miyazaki to direct this music video anime. |
| One Piece (TV 1999) | Masterpiece | The greatest pirate anime out there. |

| One Piece Special: Adventure in the Ocean's Navel | Very good | |
| One Piece: Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island (movie 6) | Excellent | |

| One Piece: Dead End (movie 4) | Excellent | The first great One Piece movie, that makes the previous three look like second choice movies. |

| One Piece: Episode of Chopper - The Miracle Winter Cherry Blossom (movie 9) | Decent | I didn't care much for this one, probably because the way they change the way Chopper first met the Straw Hat Pirates was weird. |
