| Kurenai (TV) | Excellent | Kurenai is an impressive show with themes of tradition, corrupt ideals and responsibility. Shinkuro is a really busy kid, in the daytime he goes to school, comes home in the afternoon to a lonely apartment with no family and works as a bodyguard to pay the bills.
The soundtrack consists of beautiful, often sad piano pieces. The artwork is top notch, in nearly every scene there are new visuals to absorb, almost leaving an impression of what the town itself is like.
Later you are shown just how much Murasaki has changed under Shinkuro's care, giving you a sense of progression.
