Neat! Not sure what's up with the sudden influx of pretty old manga getting adaptations (looking at you, Banana Fish, my love), but I am all for it! I quite enjoyed the movie, I'm hoping that this will mostly tread different ground.

Wow, I did not expect this at all. Lots of good news just popping out of nowhere recently and that trend continues here. I wonder if Masayuki Kojima will come back to direct this version. If he does, then it’s a must watch for me.

I have been meaning to reading this MASTERPIECE Manga soon but now to see this coming this anime really over-hyped me!! Spring 2018 will be best of 21th century anime season that will offer us!

Hoping also that this will be 2-cour... we gotta need to add more good quality 2-cour fuel as well XD

Hmm, something weird is going on, too many good manga series are suddenly getting adaptations out of nowhere lately.

I'm Happy there's still someone willing to adapt this kind of manga out there ... However my main concern is that Piano no mori (like banana fish) is very unlikely to receive a complete, non-rushed adaptation ...

Glad to be proven wrong of course !!! Very Happy

So weird, but so glad! I remember reading this years ago and longing for it to be an anime! I forgot there’s a movie though, I need to find and watch it.

I hope this gets the original manga and anime movie licensed in English, too!

I wonder if this is a consequence of Amazon and Netflix money coming into play? If that's the case I'd happily cheer for our Amazon/Netflix overlords.
