There's still Fairy Tail's ongoing sequel, "Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest", to consider. And Mashima's new series "Edens Zero", which is probably the best stuff he's written since "Rave Master".

We get it you hate Fairy Tail but don't pretend that's stopping Magi season 3 considering Fairy Tail is being animated by Bridge over looked by A1 pictures and to think A1 pictures animates 1 show at a time is nonsense.
If you also want to blame another show for the lack of Magi then you should also blame The Seven Deadly Sins if by your logic A1 pictures does 1 show at a time either that or I don't know they don't want to or waiting for the manga to end

I agree, this garbage got a third season but Magi didn't. Magi most likely won't get another season since the manga ended a while ago.

Just quickly oftopic Magi is trash...
Back to topic i think it was pretty obvious there would be that many episodes seeing the pace they were goin with 3ch=1ep there is pretty much no filler unlike previous seasons where it was 1 or 2ch max per ep. And really hope they will animate Hiro latest work aswell sometime in the future.

Clearly you haven't seen the anime nor read the manga if you say magi is trash. You like fairy tail after all, so it's obvious you have garbage taste. Proven by how you think bunny senpai is the best Fall anime when it's actually Jojo

Sigh this comment section is a mess, there is literally no reason to comment if you're only here to say Fairy Tail is garbage.
Anyway I'm a bit disappointed we're only getting 51 episodes this time but I guess they didn't want to drag it out longer with filler (since the manga is already complete) and they have permanently switched to adapting about 3 chapters per episode now instead of the 2 chapters per episode we've had ever since episode 52 of the first series. Reason I would have preferred it to be longer is so that the sequel manga series would have had more time to build up content and they could have adapted it immediately after the conclusion to this series but not the end of the world, I know we will get 100 Years Quest eventually adapted and I'm excited to see Eden's Zero get an anime too.

The DVD thing, I would like that. I live on limited income, so if I can get an anime collection with more for my money, I'd do it.
I read the whole manga arc for this final season. Although to me, it seems rushed. As we know, a rushed manga, gives us a rushed anime. Tokyo Ghoul re seems to be suffering with that now.

As long as it does not suffer the same fate as Inuyasha: The Final Act I am okay with this.
I also agree that both Fairy Tail The 100 Year Quest and Edens Zero should also be adapted into an anime at some point.
