Am I the only one who don't like that MHA (in the manga) is becoming to dark? It used to be less dark but right now the war arc is too dark.
And also, I'm very worried about Inko, because since the war arc is almost ending, recently I read one comment on Twitter that in 2018 Horikoshi saying he will introduce Deku's dad soon ... if Inko dies. It may gonna end like in Parasyte were MC's mother ended up killed later in anime while MC's father lives. I don't want to see another dead mom/alive dad cliche for Deku in MHA. God forbid.

I would say it's about time. His previous works are dark. Kimetsu no Yaiba is dark. I was lamenting how safe everything felt despite going up against these blood-thirsty villains. Manga needs to shake off the "One Piece-ification" the shonen genre. If you're making a battle manga about life or death situations in a risky profession feeling suspense is part of the enjoyment. I don't go into Prince of Tennis or Food Wars expecting people to perish but if you build up this world as dangerous you need to show that it is.
