I finished watching the first season of the anime a few days ago and I liked it. Now I'm not sure if continuing with the second season or if I should watch the movie ("The Girl Who Summons the Stars") first; is the latter based on the novels too? And what about the prequel special ("Reminiscence Arc ")?

The second season continues the main story where the first season left off. The movie is an original story that chronologically should take place somewhere after the second season. At least it has a character in it whose introduction happens in the second season and who the cast are already familiar with by the time of the incidents of the movie.
As for the prequel OVA it's a backstory about an incident in the past that was formative for the MC and his sister and led to them getting as close as they were in the series. So it's not exactly necessary but all the while beneficial to understanding the characters. In regards to the order the novels were released in the volume for the Reminiscence Arc would be between the Yokohama Disturbance Arc (end of season 1) and the Visitors Arc (season 2).

Thank you very much, this is really useful!
Edit: I finished watching S2 yesterday and I guess the tower scenes are fillers? The tower isn't mentioned at all in the novels wiki and, on top of that, the plot felt weird since recreating a human body should be harder and more tiring for Tatsuya than recreating a building, no matter how big the latter is. Anyway, I enjoyed it!
