Fascinating now many endings Digimon Adventure can get. The Return of the King of battle monster anime. The last film was set in 2010 and the original epilogue to 02 is set in 2028. You just know that there will be a soft reboot in 2028 about the kids to cash in on the marketing gimmick. Will Matt Ishida be updated to be a Space X employee? 2001 had very optimistic dreams:

I wasn't aware that they were making a Digimon 02 movie, that's pretty cool. I know people tend to dislike 02 and Davis in general, but I watched the anime inmediatly after the original Adventure ended when I was in elementary school and really enjoyed it, I still have my Flamedramon and Submarimon toys, and also a sticker album.
By the way, just last Thursday Last Evolution Kizuna premiered in Latin America and in the Neutral Spasnish dub Davis was one of the few characters that got a new voice actor and it's probably because Davis' Mexican voice actor, Luis Daniel Ramírez, has received many complaints of harassment, that's why he didn't come back as Davis and Angemon as well, in fact, he hasn't been working on a major project since mid-2020 and has been replaced in several of his best-known roles like Gian in Doraemon and in No Way Home he didn't come back to voice the original Raimi Spider-Man. |
