Hey superstars!

Our indie anime Shinsei Galverse is live!

It's a tight 22 minute OVA. We'd love to make more so if you like it, any support in sharing the video is appreciated, as after three hard years making this, it's time to go pitch it to publishers and studios and see if we can't put more in production haha.

Here as always to answer questions regarding the production!

Seems pretty sneaky to completely avoid mentioning that this was funded with NFTs and relabel it as "indie", I assume for better marketability.

For all the talk in other threads about how great the community of NFT owners is and how this was the best possible funding method and much better than all the other "bad" crowdfunding websites that take commissions, now that it's launching you seem pretty coy about its NFT origin. You even mentioned in another thread that you asked ANN to avoid mentioning the NFT aspect.

If you're so committed to the NFT thing and want to convince other people about how it's not actually just a giant scam to sell useless virtual tokens, I find it a bit odd that this PR goes so far out of its way to conceal it.Trying to hide your ethically questionable funding method seems very deliberately dishonest, so i'm here as a public service letting anyone unaware of it know about it Smile

There's nothing dishonest here, the NFT is unrelated to anyone who wants to watch the anime and enjoy it for what it is - the anime we set out to make.

We are a small team of 3 people (literally an independent team) that crowdfunded the anime - that was our promise when we launched it, and that's what we've done.

All the funds went directly to the production of the anime in Japan with the small studio we worked with, so I'm not sure what you think. I'm specifically not asking anyone in ANN to buy or take part in the NFT side of things, as it's not our focus.
