Damn........

This is one of my partner and I's most anticipated and favorite series. Shinji Kimura not returning as art director [expletive] sucks. Their background art was one of the animes greatest strengths. The new art director also has some great things in their catalogue so im not COMPLETELY devastated but Shinji Kimura was pretty much the g.o.a.t

It's likely that it may still air on Netflix, but will now air on other streaming services too.

Still curious on what they mean by “almost simultaneously worldwide”.

Totally forgot that this was originally supposed to air last year. Feels like every show ever is getting a new season this year.

International broadcasts generally follow after the Japanese broadcast, so it could be anywhere from 30 ~ 60 minutes later. Some regions like SEA can get it with the broadcast in Japan.

Yeah no, this Is definitely going to be on Netflix, they have the first season and recently both MAPPA and Netflix signed an exclusivity agreement, they probably are making that statement in advance for the fans to know they'll be able to watch it weekly unlike other series that were locked two months. Anyway, this is one of my most anticipated animes, watched a lot of times and might even watched it again, that's how good it is.

Nevermind, this will be locked weeks or months like the other anime I was talking about.

TOHO is distributing it internationally and are pushing season 1 onto other platforms. Sure it's on Netflix but it will be elsewhere too now.

I hope that's the case, that's how it should be, but I still don't like that "almost simultaneously worldwide".

Shame that Shinji Kimura isn't back, but I'm glad they managed to bring back the rest of the main staff.

6 years and 3 months between 1 cour seasons of a cult show is crazy and the only way a 3rd season can end the story is if material is cut.

The ending is famously bloated as the manga drifted from 2 cancelled Seinen magazines before the author´s new Shounen magazine home picked it up to finish. S1 removed 2.5 chapters and some scenes. The finale just keeps going and going, so rethinking it would get my blessing, but we are talking about a 2030s release and there is no good cutoff point in the story.
