I wonder if this means that Konami has turned a profit with Metal Gear V. The game cost $80 million to produce, after all.

The better question is does it matter long term, they just let go there most profitable director and with him went a good chunk of his staff.
It's sad to see a company go but they have to really show off some good content to bring the fan-base back to them.

Shipped does not mean sold in the video games industry. I'm curious as to what the actual sales numbers are for TPP.
