It's rather difficult to make a competitve beat'em all or H'n'S game so it leads me to think that they will make a 2D action like GG or BB.
While i doubt it, maybe we could expect Arc System Works to work on it ? It would not target for a large public though as such games tend to demand knowledges on every aspect of the gameplay starting from all the characters's moves and their frames.
The recent GBF:Versus is more beginners-friendly in this regard than Arc System Works's GG & BB but it's still not the kind of game i would advise to most of my friends.
Edit : typos

The game will at least be worthwhile so long as the perpetual screw ups know as Spike Chunsoft aren't the ones developing it.

Even if I'm a big Kimetsu no Yaiba fan, if it turns out to be another fighting game, I definitely won't buy it.

"Competitive Action" sounds like there's gonna be a huge online multiplayer component. I'm really excited if that's the case.
