Notably this is being developed by Yuke's, who are mostly known for their WWE games. That particular gravy train stopped for them though, and recently they did two Earth Defense Force entries and an AEW game.
It's hard to know what to make of it from this trailer, but it's nice to see an attempt at a fresh interpretation and not yet another retro throwback thing.

Well last year a new 2D Double Dragon Game was released and I am looking forward to DDR next year Too!

Except
A. This looks substantially less grimy than Streetwise did.
B. Neither of the brothers look like they’re on drugs.
C. We’re complaining about the game’s move to 3D when virtually all the DD were in 2D. At least one of those games which was suppose to be a new game (DD4) used the NES sprites. Now if they do this with the Kunio Kun games we would have something.
