I tried a couple of times to get into the anime and just couldn't. I was kind of digging it when it'd lean more horror but it felt like it just kind of continually undercut it with dumb comedy, and also the obvious cheapness of all of the extras being featureless kind of doesn't really work when it's a supernatural series. Maybe the manga's better?

I didn't catch this anime when it first came out. I like the concept. The first couple of episodes are great.
