I guess we'll see how this goes. I expect it will be designed for vertical viewing, which is ok for things like "Just Chatting" streams, but not good for something where they are doing anything else on screen.
I've been watching some anime recently that had characters watching something on old 4:3 CRT TVs and it got me thinking about how odd it is that we transitioned to widescreen and getting more of the picture. But now with watching stuff on phones, things are sliding back towards less of the picture.

4 years too late indeed. Vtubers are pretty much dead in the water as a trend, even Vtuber fans are quietly admitting this.
