I'm happy for Jirou Sugiura, especially considering that he recently lost his father and he deserved some good news.
I'm still hoping that the rest of My Wife Has No Emotion could get animated. Unlike a lot of people on /a/, I'm a big fan of the robotics club chapters and Erisu is my favourite character overall.

Sounds and looks interesting, never heard of it before, but there is so much manga out there.

Oh, I didn't expect this manga to get an anime adaption. It's rather spicy, to say the least.
No wonder when considering Sugiura's background as an R18 doujin artist.
@Tenchi
I wish for a second season of My wife has no emotions too. Can't say anything about the robotics club chapters yet because I'm reading the japanese volumes and those chapters were rather hard to understand so far.

I wasn't expecting this to get an anime adaptation... It's a pretty interesting series where being a slave is, oddly, a well-paid job. There are already 24 chapters published, which seems to be more than enough for a first season. If I remember correctly, there are two “spicy” scenes that could probably be omitted in the anime.

But this is also the studio that made Interspecies Reviewers more spiciy than the source to the point Funimation and some Japanese channels got surprised and stopped airing the show before it was done. They also did Nukitashi. Which went as far as giving all 4 love interests from the VN an OVA where each has sex with protagonist.

They shouldn’t “omit” anything. No censorship, keep the spicy

In the translation available on Bookwalker (just the first volume so far) the dialog is pretty wooden — it almost seems pedagogical, though the education is about a fictional world. I wonder how that’s going to be carried over into the anime.
It’s going to be problematic because of the whole slavery issue (even if the slavery is more indentured servitude). Add to that the whole sex-worker thing. I know there are lots of other series that have had controversies along those lines, but I haven’t been paying attention to them.
