That's actually a rather nice prize. Aside from being signed, as the contest notes, the Vol 1 LE BD sold out. They didn't make enough, it sold out before the release date, and they didn't make any more. Though it's only the first episode, copies of it go for several hundred dollars in Japan. (Cheapest used copy on amazon.co.jp is ￥17,500 - about $230, cheapest new copy is ￥33,070 - about $430.) So yeah, it's a nice prize.

Clearly they were accidentally revealing that they're biased toward NEXT with time travel powers... or possibly lame Doctor Who references.

I must admit, I though of a couple of interesting hero possibilities while watching this show.
I guess now is a good a time as any to delurk and try my hand at some creative writing. |

Man... I've been playing City of Heroes for years. But never really wrote a biography for any of my characters. This contest kinda makes me wish I had and/or took up a creative writing class. lol

I would like to know this as well! Another question: Since T&B heroes sponsor things it would make sense for our heroes to have a logo somewhere. But is it legal to use real company names (example, McDonald's) in a contest like this? Or would it be best to make something up (or obvious parody, WacDonalds! ;p) or should we just leave that out? |

Isn't there supposed to be some kind of T&B sequel coming up on 11/13? This event is probably an effort to promote the series and get people to start thinking about the series again. Or am I mistaken, because I don't see anything listed under the encyclopedia.

I know the contest is focused more on the description of the character/hero that we create, but I wonder if it would be OK to submit a picture for the other side of the card, too?
