I really liked Hakkenden even though it honestly should have been more yaoi instead of just shojo/josei. The action was obviously sub-par but I liked the drama it created for the characters to deal with in general. I wanted to see more Aoi, Shino, and Sousuke. I DEFINITELY wanted to see more Genpachi and Shino though.

I'm glad to hear we get to see more from this author though. It doesn't sound like what I usually get excited for but if it's yaoi with ikemen, more is better.

On the topic of Hakkenden, I only liked it because of the voice acting. It was incredibly dull overall, even the bishounen characters.

I'm not fond of Abe Miyuki's other BL works, but hopefully this one is good?

I tried to read the manga but for some reason grew bored of it (it was years ago, I don't really remember), but if it's getting an anime I think I'll revisit it. I'm so happy to hear so many BL manga is getting adapted these days, it seems like my dream of a Honto Yajuu anime is not so impossible anymre

Eeeeeh!!! I'm so happy! It's one of my favorites.

It does suffer a bit from Abe Miyuki's tendency to get lost in the everyday lives of the characters rather then pushing the plot forward but it's still wonderful. Her love of canines really shines in this work just like Hakkenden.

It would be awesome if someone picked this and Hakkenden's manga up but I doubt that'll ever happen.

I'd do with anything Yamamoto Kotetsuko, but Honto Yajuu has got to be my favorite all-time BL manga and I really really want to see it animated T____T

YES! YES! YES! This is one of the few BL manga I like. It always annoys me how long it takes for the next chapter though, but it's always worth the wait. This anime will also be worth the wait! Very Happy I never thought it would ever get one.

I wonder if it will be a film, OVA or TV series???

P.S I hope Hakkenden gets a third season one day but I kind of doubt it.

SO EXCITED!!!!!

Though I enjoyed Hakkenden, I honestly think Super Lovers has much better writing (minus the awful title). But I didn't think it had a chance of being animated, what with being a slow-paced yaoi slice-of-life.

I have never been so happy to be wrong.

Well this hs guven me the kick up the arse to get on and start reading the manga, I've had it sat waiting to be read for a while... I was contemplating starting it last night but I got distracted. I defiantly want to catch up before the Anime begins to air.

YES, this is excellent news. The story is great and the art is great and I can't wait to see how it turns out when it's animated.
