The April issue of Shonen Gahosha's Young King magazine published the first part of Yuki Hijiri's Locke the Superman manga spin-off entitled "Chōjin Locke Gaiden: Ankoku no Kishi" (Locke the Superman Side Story: Knights of Darkness) on Tuesday. The story revolves around a mercenary corps (the Order of Darkness) that was introduced in the original Locke the Superman work. The second part of the new manga will be published in Young King's May issue on March 19.

Locke the Superman was a manga, serialized in at least three different magazines from 1967 to1989, about an immortal figure and a chronicle of his adventures through time, taking place at different periods. It was adapted into a movie and three original video anime projects (Locke the Superman: Lord Leon, Locke the Superman: Mirror Ring, Locke the Superman: New World Battle Team).
